Workshops

In 2010 the Visitacion Valley Greenway Project hosted 2 major  American Community Gardeners Association workshops sponsored by Robert Mondavi's Woodbridge Winery and in  partnership with DPW, Recreation and Park Department and SF Parks Trust.  These highly successful events were very well attended by people from  all over the city. We are planning to host the SF/Refresh event in April  and continue to expand our capacity as an outdoor venue for classes in  horticulture, including workshops on bees, irrigation, rain barrel water  collection, composting, native plants, vegetable and fruit gardening,  plant propagation, nutrition as well as arts, crafts and music.

We welcome people of all ages and experience to our upcoming workshops  in an effort to teach the public about the value of gardening and  community.

For further information, please call (415) 468-0639.
