Eating Green

One of the goals of the Visitacion Valley Greenway Project is to help our community become healthier and have a sense of satisfaction and empowerment by producing their own organic food. Hopefully, the end result will be back yard gardens producing local, seasonal food to sustain our Visitacion Valley residents and help build a greener environment.

Given the diverse, vibrant population in the Valley, this dynamic, ever changing section, Eating Green, will be devoted to seasonal recipes submitted by neighbors that are inspired by fruits and vegetables grown on the Visitacion Valley Greenway.

Toni Zernik, who is a Photo Art director, Prop Stylist and Foodie will supervise Eating Green. Please submit you recipes and suggestions to: toni@visvalleygreenway.org. Future plans include a cookbook highlighting the best of Eating Green.
